Studio Boudoir Photography Terms & Conditions

1. Booking

A booking is confirmed once the required booking fee has been paid and a confirmation has been issued. The booking fee is non-refundable and secures your chosen date and time.

2. Payment

The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the photography session unless otherwise agreed in writing. Images and products will not be delivered until full payment has been received.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Booking fees are non-refundable.

  • Sessions may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 7 days notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will result in the loss of the booking fee.

  • If the photographer needs to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to reschedule. If this is not possible, all money paid will be refunded.

4. Arrival Time

Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before your session starts. Late arrivals will result in a shortened session.

5. Hair, Makeup & Styling

Clients should arrive with clean, dry hair and a clean face unless instructed otherwise. Professional hair and makeup is scheduled within a 1-hour appointment slot.

If you require a more detailed or time-intensive look that may take longer than the allocated time, please let the photographer know in advance so additional time can be arranged. Any extra time or specialist requirements may incur an additional charge.

6. Studio Conduct

A respectful, inclusive, and professional environment is maintained at all times. The photographer reserves the right to end a session without refund if any inappropriate, abusive, threatening, or unsafe behaviour occurs.

7. Image Selection & Editing

The photographer will select and professionally edit the best images from the session. Basic retouching is included where stated in the chosen package. Additional editing requests beyond the standard service may incur extra charges.

8. Turnaround Time

Edited images are typically delivered within 7-14 days of the session unless otherwise advised.

9. Copyright

All photographs remain the copyright of the photographer. Clients receive a personal-use licence to download, print, and share their purchased images for personal, non-commercial use.

Images may not be altered, heavily filtered, edited, entered into competitions, or used for commercial purposes without the photographer's written permission.

10. Model Release & Privacy

Your privacy is treated with the utmost respect.

No photographs will be published on the photographer's website, social media, advertising, printed materials, or used for any promotional purposes without your explicit written consent.

Clients may choose one of the following:

  • Full permission to use selected images.

  • Permission to use anonymous images only (where no face or identifying features are visible).

  • No permission for any public use.

Your preference will be recorded before your images are delivered and can be changed at any time by contacting the photographer.

11. Client Consent

Boudoir photography is a collaborative experience. Clients participate voluntarily and may decline any pose, outfit, or creative suggestion at any stage of the session without explanation.

The photographer will never require a client to pose in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable and will always prioritise the client's comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

12. Minimum Age Requirement

All boudoir clients must be at least 18 years of age on the date of the session.

Valid government-issued photo identification may be requested before the session begins. Sessions cannot proceed without satisfactory proof of age if requested.

13. Guests

Clients are welcome to bring one friend for support during their session.

For the comfort and privacy of all clients, partners, spouses, or significant others are not permitted to attend the studio session unless prior written agreement has been given by the photographer.

Guests are expected to behave respectfully and must not interfere with the running of the session. The photographer reserves the right to ask any guest to leave if their behaviour becomes disruptive.

14. No Photography or Recording in the Studio

To protect the privacy of all clients, the photographer's work, and the studio environment, no photographs, videos, screen recordings, or live streaming may be taken by clients or their guests anywhere inside the studio during the session without the photographer's prior written permission.

This includes the use of mobile phones, cameras, smart watches, tablets, or any other recording device.

The photographer reserves the right to ask that any unauthorised images or recordings be deleted immediately. Repeated or deliberate breaches of this policy may result in the session being ended without refund.

15. Image Storage

Edited images will be securely stored for up to 6 months from the delivery date. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their files. After this period, long-term storage cannot be guaranteed.

16. Digital Downloads

Digital images are supplied in high resolution unless otherwise stated. Download galleries may expire after a specified period.

Due to the nature of digital products, all digital image purchases are non-refundable once the images have been downloaded or accessed. By downloading your images, you acknowledge that your right to cancel or receive a refund for the digital files has ended, except where required by law.

17. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Expiry dates apply where stated.

18. Health & Safety

Clients are responsible for informing the photographer before the session of any injuries, medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or mobility concerns that may affect posing or participation.
