If you’ve stumbled across my website, that means you’re already thinking about investing in a Boudoir photoshoot experience. And well, you’ve come to the right place!

I’ve been empowering woman through boudoir for over 6 years now, photographing over 1000 ladies at various studios across the UK.

There are many different reasons to book a boudoir experience, whether it’s for a confidence boost, a celebration, a gift, or just because you feel like it! I’m a firm believer that everyone should experience it at least once in their life, and I can promise that 5 minutes into your session any nerves you have will disappear!

From the moment you book to the second you walk through the door, my goal is to make this experience feel less like a formal photoshoot with a stranger and more like a fun, empowering day with a friend. Before your session, we will jump on a consultation call to chat about your favourite outfits, the overall vibe you want to achieve, and answer any questions you might have so you know exactly what to expect. I will take care of all the lighting and expert posing, so all you have to do is show up, have fun, and let your personality shine through.

And yes, I have had my own boudoir pictures taken…twice! So I understand all of the nerves at the start… and the amazing feeling you get when you see your images at the end and realise how amazing you look!

I offer truly bespoke sessions, starting with a pre-shoot consultation where we can discuss your ideas, inspiration, styling, and vision. We can create mood boards together and plan a shoot that feels completely personal to you.

Every photoshoot is completely unique, designed around you. My goal is not only for you to look incredible in your images, but to create an experience that feels personal, empowering, and unforgettable.

Honesty is at the heart of what I do, ensuring a smooth, straightforward, and positive experience from the very beginning. You’ll have all the information you need to decide whether my services are right for you before making any payment.

Your satisfaction is my priority. While it’s not an issue I’ve experienced in the past, I understand that sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. In the rare event that you’re not completely happy with the final result, I’ll always offer a complimentary reshoot to make sure you’re happy with the outcome.

FAQs

Here are my most asked questions. Hopefully you find your answers below! If not, feel free to contact me at contact@boudoirbyshannon.co.uk or submit your details below to schedule a call :)

  • Your total studio experience will last about 2.5 hours. This includes 1 hour of gorgeous professional hair and makeup, followed by a 1.5 hour photoshoot.

    When will I receive my images?

    If you purchased an upfront package (my most popular option) , your edited digital images will arrive via email or USB within 7 working days. If you’re purchasing after the shoot, we’ll schedule a zoom viewing call one week later to choose your favourites, and your digital order will be sent straight away :)

    Custom albums, prints and wall art take up to 6 weeks to be created and shipped straight to your address.

  • There is no right or wrong answer to this question- you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Whether that be a full suspender set, a partners shirt or a babydoll dress. This photoshoot is about you. I will provide props such as gowns (and a veil if you're getting married) but I ask that you provide 2-3 of your own lingerie outfits for hygiene reasons. If you are unsure on what to buy- this is something I can totally help with during our consultation call- i’m basically a lingerie expert at this point!

  • I am based in Clapham, South London. To protect the privacy and security of all my clients, the exact studio address will be shared with you as soon as your booking is confirmed.

    To help you plan your travel:

    Driving: There is 3 hours of free parking available right on-site.

    Public Transport: The studio is just a pleasant 20-minute walk from Clapham Junction station.

    If Clapham is a bit too far away for you, feel free to get in touch! I am happy to travel.

  • Absolutely not, unless you want them to be! Privacy is an incredibly important part of the boudoir experience. I only ever share images if a client gives me their written permission. If you prefer to keep your photos 100% private, they will stay strictly between us!

  • Before you book a session, we will have a 10 minute consultation call to ensure this is the right experience for you. To register your interest, please fill your details out via the form at the bottom of the page and I will be in touch.

  • Absolutely! You are more than welcome to bring one trusted friend to cheer you on and help you feel comfortable. However, I do ask that partners sit this one out. Boudoir is all about celebrating you, and having a partner in the room can sometimes shift the energy or make you focus on their reactions rather than letting your own confidence shine!

  • Not at all! In fact, most of my clients have never done a boudoir session before.

    It is completely normal to feel a little nervous! You are in safe, expert hands, think of me as your personal director. I will guide you through every single pose, facial expression, and movement so you never have to worry about what to do next.

    My biggest goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated just as you are. All you need to do is show up, relax, and have fun! By the end of the session, you’ll feel like an absolute pro (and have the gorgeous photos to prove it)!
